Whether you’re looking for a piece of art or a unique piece of furniture, Prague is full of incredibly design stores that won’t disappoint.

Gravelli

Store

Gravelli designs and sells furniture made at least partially of concrete. From tables to chairs to benches, their creations look industrial but artistic, so they feel at home in both apartments and offices. Gravelli was nominated twice for the Czech Grand Design Award for the uniqueness and the quality of its designs.

Konsepti

Konsepti is one of the oldest and hippest design shops in Prague. It features exclusive furniture design pieces from Czech and European designers. This is one of those places you visit when you want something unexpected – a piece of furniture that’s almost a piece of art and that will get your guests talking. Expect Cubist chairs made of plastic or wire, reproductions of the classic 1960 Panton Chair, 1950 style veneer furniture for modern times, and much more.

Modernista

Store

Modernista is one of the premier brands for avant-garde design in the Czech Republic. As the name implies, the company specializes in Modernist furniture, but they also sell Cubist glass and ceramics, Bauhus décor items and more. Expect tons of 1950s style furniture with a touch of contemporary design.

Paletky

Paletky is the response to a new trend in design, where furniture is built using transportation pallets. To make the pieces more unique, Paletky uses not only standard pallets, but also foreign pallets made of unique woods such as Japanese cedar. The company produces everything from tables to cabinets to chairs to mailboxes, all using pallets.

Prague Kabinet

Art Gallery

Prague Kabinet is unique because it sells three very different lines: antique, art and design pieces. If you’re after a one-of-a-kind piece with a lot of character, the antique line is perfect for you. The art line features objects from a number of designers and the design line sells pieces (both furniture and décor) that are artistic but also serve a purpose.
