Kreuzberg’s not only riesling is a wine bar and shop whose name aptly suggests that selections found here go far beyond typical German varieties. It largely comprises creamy hues of white and timber tones. The wines are on display in a shelving system that spans from wall to wall. This place specializes in Italian wines. Each one is personally selected and brought back to the shop straight from various regions of the country. This includes the Piedmont, which borders France and Switzerland. Italian meats, cheeses, and other munchies are served on handmade Italian cutting boards. Candles are set aglow on each table and along the walls to create a stunning ambiance. This Spanish wine bar also serves an array of tapas, and they host live music sets each weekend. Köpenicker Weinladen Max Hoch is located in Kreuzberg near the East Side Gallery and the Spree. The wine list features German varieties from all over the country. Many of these wines are of excellent quality yet they are sold at affordable prices. Not to mention, the staff is always happy to help customers find the perfect variety to go with any meal. The vast number of wine bottles housed in the shop and wine bar are stacked in crates that line the walls. This gives Köpenicker Weinladen Max Hoch a relaxed, authentic feel.

Therefore, the wine bar’s interior has been decorated to correspond to the aesthetics of the area. For instance, the striking slate countertops, which also come from the Mosselle River, give Ottorink a distinctive feel. This wine bar specializes in white wines that have a bouquet of flavors thanks to the minerals found in the river. Naturally, most of the wines at Ottorink are from Germany. Howeverm there are some good options from places like France, Spain, and even South America.

The pride of their wine repertoire is the selection of rieslings and muskatellers, both quintessential German varieties. The elongated interior is dimly lit and dressed in a color scheme of deep yellows and golds. In addition to the wines, Die Legende von Paula & Ben also serves a fantastic selection of cocktails from the large bar. In fact, they have more than 40 different types of rum alone. In addition to plentiful seating at the bar, there are leather-upholstered chairs at the back that provide a more intimate setting.
